Welcome to Central Christian Academy

Who We Are

Since 1981 Central Christian Academy has been offering residents of Northern Chautauqua County a Christian alternative to public education.

CCA partners with parents to provide a quality, Biblically based education which will assist in the child's academic, social, physical and spiritual development.  In classes that range from age 3 through the12th grade, students at CCA are given a spiritual foundation upon which to grow in addition to the necessary intellectual and social skills needed in all phases of life.

CCA is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Dunkirk and upholds traditional evangelic truths.  Our students come from a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Distinctives

Some of the things that set Central Christian Academy apart form public education are:

  • CCA partners with parents and their churches in "training of their children in the way they should go." (Proverbs 22:6)
  • CCA provides a quality education based on the truths of the Bible.
  • CCA prepares students for their future by providing and ecellent and balanced education.
  • CCA provides for the development of young leaders.
  • CCA proclaims that all knowledge and wisdom come from God and that the universe around them is in harmony and agreement with its Creator.

Central Christian Academy accomplishes this through the following:

Proven Christian Curricula

The school is committed to developing basic skills required for ongoing success in formal education.  The A Beka Curriculum became the backbone of the academic program at CCA during its inception and continues to provide the strong college preparatory academics needed to prepare today's students for tomorrow's challenges.

Qualified, Caring Faculty

Our teachers and staff are carefully selected on the basis of their education, exerience, and itegrity.  They are committed to the ministry of Christian education, demonstrate a sincere interest in each child and are dedicated to making a positive contribution to the development of each student.

Small Student to Teacher ratio

Each class has no more than fifteen students and often the classes are ten or less.  This is clearly an educational advantage since the teacher has time for more personal interaction with each student.

Supplemental Activities

In addition to core academics, the school offers chapel, gym, art, music, computer and Spanish in the weekly schedule as well as periodic field trips.

Parental Involvement

Our Parent Teacher Fellowship is very active and provides two fund raisers a year as well has helps out with the different programs during the year.

Annual Standardized Testing

CCA tests students through the SAT and the NYSESLAT standarized testing programs.
